Georgia Farrell, 12 - 17 October, 2025

Georgia Farrell is a creative hand-knitting designer based in Colchester, UK. Her work is strongly influenced by her love of modern architecture, and she’s known for designs rich in pattern, texture, and colour.

Her popular ‘Abstract’ series of books and designs with Rowan Yarns showcases her distinctive style as a designer and knitter. With a background in textile design, Georgia brings a strong sense of structure and surface to the knitted fabrics she loves to create, especially through her use of texture and intarsia.

Georgia also has a passion for colour. Whether she’s developing new yarn shades, building colour palettes for collections, or sharing inspiration through talks and workshops, she brings colour to the forefront of her creative process.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
